Back to the Grindstone...

Today was a nice break from the adventures, we went back to school, had a new student join our class and switched teachers. They are all pretty awesome, although the classroom that we are in has a bad track record. Last week they found a spider the size of a fist hanging out on the ceiling, then the week before a coral snake found its way in. The nice part is that it is under a monster grapfruit tree which makes for a delicious breakfast. The rest of today is going to be relaxing, we are going to follow up on a bunch of emails to try and solidify some plans to possibily go to Haiti and Africa for a good part of next year. Then our for a drink with a Dutch guy, Stefan, we met here. He had the bad fortune of completing his training as a baker, only to develop an allergy to flour, so he is traveling for most of the year, doing some kayaking and deciding which profession he´s going to enter upon his return. A real genuine guy. There is a mini-fiesta the school throws for the new people each week, but since there is only 4 of us in the school right now, and only 1 new person this week, I think it will be very mini tonight. We have some great books that we brought with us, and haven´t had too much time to read them, so we´ll end that night on that note and study a bit more Spanish for tomorrow.

The pictures today are actually pictures from yesterday, mostly because our quest to spot a tucan on the reservation where our classes are held, was unsuccessful for the day. Hopefully we´ll get on soon. We are thinking of everyone at home and hope all is well. Kind of ironic that you´re the ones having hurricanes, haha.
