So we have indeed arrived and our thouroughly enjoying our new adventure...We had fantastic flights, nice turbelence, many kind people, and then a blessed rainy welcome when we arrived. Thanks to all of our families for the lovely camping gear though because we spared our luggage from a wet misery with the amazing bag covers! We rode a bus out into the rural country and found ourselves a nice little place to call home---will do a thorough bug-insect check before turning the lighbulb off tonight though! When they said that this was their rainy season they were not even kidding! i´think we might be starting to grow moldy already....alas, classes start tomorrow morning somewhere at 7 15...and lord only knows that we are both worthless with directions, so we might just start trekking now to find it! Well, we have tasted the brew here and decided that Bavaria beer is the way to go...cannot wait for our linguistic endeavors to commence tomorrow, manana after some desperately needed sleep. wahoo! bienvenidos! thats all the spanish i got for now. but i will make up some more later. kinda like a spot the mistakes exercise for ya. wish we could have a pint of bavaria with you!
