The weekend...

Today we had the treat of talking to my mom and dad, and leaving amessage for George and Kathy...so great just to hear those voices! Another good day here in Burundi, with many lessons learned, dreams had, plans made, the consumption of beans and rice, and some pretty impressive terrential downpours. The weekend is a slower clinic day, so we spent the morning learning how to plant palm trees and cocoa beans with Justin in the absolutely impressive agro farm they are developing here and then copious amounts of study over malnutrition. This issue is quickly becoming something that we could like to just into, and try to assist with..But just some photos from the day, the view, our little kids...we continue to pick up more words, and now can actually use different greetings and sound very local....We are off to sleep for the night...Be well...we miss you...oh, and we might have a reliable address soon and will be very much accepting care packages (kenton will be angry if i said that ! ) but let me tell you, I'm tiny, and i can't stay full on these beans!! Kenton has taken to rationing my power bar supply. Now, i have to sneak them quietly behind the bed...Ok...realization of the day-- change takes time. Time is precious. and cultural sensitivity is always key.   Nissawah!
